They need to be able to break down the silos. And in order to break down the silos in multiple teams, the best way of doing it is sharing your knowledge. And therefore collaborating with your colleagues. Right. And also, one other important aspect of that collaboration is a new way of redefining collaboration from the perspective of co-creation. So before, collaboration was happening amongst employees, and now collaboration is gonna be more on demand by customers who want to collaborate with employees, and improve the products that they use themselves. So one of the things I would say for instance is how more and more employees have been told to go outside of the firewall and use some of these very social software tools to talk to customers and to listen to customers. And in order to understand what are their problems, and how they can help them, how they can collaborate together, etc etc. So for instance from ten years ago, if you would ask the colleague that I work with in their customers interactions, they would tell you that the only tool that they use was email. Right. Nothing else was available. Nothing else was happening. And now we are seeing how it is not just happening with email some of the we are seeing how they are certain to make use a wide range of options that improve the way open sharing happens.

Ten years ago, talking to competitors was a no-go. You know. We couldn't even go out there on the firewall and talk to them, because hey you may release confidential information. Fuck that! You know, we all know what confidential information is, we all know what sensitive information is, it's 1 per cent of the ninety-nine or hundred per cent of the stuff that we work with on a daily basis. So, going out there and practically engage with both[...]
So we gonna see a lot more telecommuting and teleworking, and we gonna see how it gonna continue rely more and more into critical stage on collaborating through the internet. Not necessarily amongst ourselves as employees but also with our customers as part of a context of co-creation. I think it is where the workplace is going. And, you know, one of the conversations that we had internally on this topic is the traditional concept of the workplace disappears. Work[...]
