So I would say the networks are going to be everything. Networks are going to be everything. And you can’t get – if an organization is based on a machine, with a central process, whether that’s extracting oil and producing gasoline, whether it is making a newspaper, whether it is making a car, you know what I mean? They all have the central machine process that has to be made more and more efficient. There’s no way you can transform that from a dead machine into a living organization. There is no pathway. And that is why I think trying to fix that is not a useful use of anybody’s time or energy, but inside all these organizations are millions of people who are starting to wake up but they’re prisoners in this sinking ship. They’re on the Titanic but they’re actually locked in their cabins. And I think there’s a great work to help people to see where they really are and how to get out of it.

I have a story for you. It’s unfortunate you’re French because the story is about tanks. So in 1940, the French command thought of the mental image of a tank was a mobile pillbox, or something that would break through a line of trenches. In other words, they were thinking of what tanks were in 1918. The Germans, having lost the war, opened them to more thinking, and they saw a tank as an offensive weapon to be concentrated. They[...]
So after the Black Death, where I think 35% of Europe died, suddenly peasants realized that they weren’t valuable. And also, you had knights who had previously, if you were the Big Baron and I’m merely a knight, you would have granted me my house and I would’ve have given you my knight service, you know, like having a job. Like having a job. But then, the knights who were any good could go to Italy and join what was called[...]
And you see also the rise of fundamentalism as well, everywhere. Half of America is now… what they fear the most is a fundamentalist. We had just seen the Supreme Court support another fundamentalist. So I think the fear of the uncertainty, fear of uncertainty, some of the communities collapse into fundamentalism. The Bible, the Koran, women in their place, you know, that’s one god, that’s one zone of comfort. Another is it’s a shark pool, I’m going to get[...]
I think what we see with the bureaucratic time, you and I are the leaders of this organization, so we come up with an idea. So we’re done, aren’t we? So now we simply sell it to the 25,000 employees of the Thierry-Robert Organization. Huge amount of resistance. It’s not their idea, they weren’t involved, they had no context, they weren’t involved in the decision. So once we made our decision very quickly, in five years’ time, almost nothing that[...]
I think the political life as we know it is also finished. They are now owned by the people who give them the money. They don’t care about you and me, or anybody else. So something else will take its place and you can see the beginnings of this, in the organizations that people love to hate. So Hamas, right? So Hamas comes in and it says two things, really. Be part of us and you stand up against your[...]
I’m not a Christian, but the Bible has some great stories and it has the best story about this very thing, which is the story of Moses and Exodus. So Moses is in reality, remember, an Egyptian prince. He is the adopted brother of the pharaoh. Whether he existed or not is not important. The issue is how the story is constructed. So, a leader of the old world; it creates a situation where he takes his people out of[...]
